Four of Podwal’s acrylic and colored pencil works on paper on Jewish themes are in The Metropolitan Museum's Modern and Contemporary Art Collection. For decades, The Met has reproduced Podwal’s images on numerous objects for its gift shops. Those items include three decorative plates, such as Passover Plate; a gold pendant, brooch, and metal hamsa bookmark along with two prints for its 2005 exhibition, Prague the Crown of Bohemia; and various Jewish holiday cards. Three times Podwal’s work was The Met’s “Artwork of the Day.”
